Stay up-to-date with UEI during the spring and summer months as we seek to create healthy urban ecosystems by checking the events calendar, reading the blog, and signing up for email updates.

Since its inception in 2005, the LEAH (Leaders in Education, Action, and Hope) Mentors Program has been dedicated to the principle that the lives of all young people have great potential for transforming the world around them. Once under the guidance of UEI, the LEAH program is now under the direction of the Boston Public School's Department of Extended Learning Time, Afterschool, and Services (DELTAS) office. The program continues to thrive as part of DELTAS, as does the founding partnership between UEI and BPS that made the program so successful.

Just as Leah Deni was committed to working with urban youth, UEI is committed to continue to support the environmental education of young people. Although the LEAH program is no longer under the direction of UEI, our current in-school and out-of-school time field studies curricula and teacher development programs will continue to provide students a truly unique experiential environmental science education.
