The Sustainable Cities Division consist of three program areas: CityRoots, ULTRA and Urban Forestry Tools.
In urban ecosystems, the health of the physical environment is closely connected to the physical, social, and mental well-being of residents. UEI’s Sustainable Cities programs bring together communities, municipalities, researchers, and non-profit organizations to assess and re-green urban land. With these partners we promote urban stewardship and renew a sense of ecological health and beauty to urban areas.
